How To Make 3D Folded Stars

As I mentioned in my last post, today I have a quick tutorial to show you how to make the 3d Folded Stars I made for *these* cards.

So ... begin by cutting out or punching out your Star. It can be any size you want.

1. On the reverse side, score across the star to the tip of one point, as shown by the dotted line above. Repeat this for each of the points on your star.

2. Fold along each scoreline.

3. With the front side facing you, gently shape the folds, encouraging the longest part of each fold into a mountain fold and the shortest part into a valley fold.

And that's it. That was quick wasn't it?

To add them to a card, just add PVA glue to the five points of the star like this ... & glue them to your card.

I think I'm going to use these for my Christmas Thank You Cards this year. I haven't made them yet. I make those a little further along in my Christmas Step-by-Step process. I won't forget to share them when I have : )

They look lovely as hanging tags too. Like I did with these : )

Love Liz xx
